Nick Riera - RIERA'S PLACE

Nick is a huge reason why I shape surfboards today. We have shaped over 20 boards together since 1999. We started by taking knee boards from the dumpster and tracing the outline by hand. The pickle was developed from him and below is a picture of Nick ripping a tail slide on the original “Pickle Model” in 1999. Nick is the owner and operator of the popular Italian Deli “Riera’s Place” located in South Redondo Beach. If you're in LA stop by and grab a bite you will be stoked!
